A warm welcome at the Sandford Arms

Situated in rural Cumbria, the Sandford Arms is a fantastic location for great food, a place to stay and a friendly, relaxing atmosphere.

A historic building in itself, the Sandford Arms coach house was often visited by William de Sandford in the late 13th century, and much of its original charm still remains. Converted into its current structure following the 18th century, the building now houses the Sandford Arms of today, a lively and welcoming public house providing refreshment and accommodation to locals and visitors alike.

With a wide selection of traditional local ales and malts, a fantastic home-cooked menu and a range of beautiful, comfortable guest rooms, why not come and visit the Sandford Arms today? We are ideally located for walking and fishing holidays, with rods available for those who require them. With Center Parcs nearby, we are an ideal spot for travellers' lunches. Fantastic views and comfortable, warm surroundings make the Sandford Arms a lovely spot for relaxing in.
